The Now & Forever Campaign was Parkwood’s first large-scale (at $ 4.6 million) campaign. It was initiated in 1999/2000 when the Government of Canada announced a $ 1 million fund-matching grant for conservation of the nationally-significant gardens. The community rallied to match the grant (the largest given under the government program) and even went further.

The campaign established long-term conservation programs, which continue today and are accomplished through mini campaigns and community/donor partnerships.
