Outdoor Photography

The magnificent grounds and heritage gardens of the Parkwood Estate offer the perfect location wedding photography. Favoured by professional photographers throughout the region, our grounds are attractive in any season. The estate gardens feature an abundance of large heritage trees and evergreens, architectural elements and statuary that create the perfect backdrop for exquisite wedding photo memories.

Wedding parties of up to 20 persons may schedule a photo session on the grounds.

Rate: $225.00* Rate subject to change. No alternative indoor site available if inclement weather.

Indoor Photography

Photography sessions inside the Parkwood mansion are permitted from October to April. The elegant surroundings of the main floor rooms provide a lavish and unique setting for wedding photography. The Sunroom, Loggia, Drawing Room and the Spiral Staircase are areas available for photography of wedding parties up to 12 persons.

Tea House

Enjoy a welcome break or meet with your party to plan the big event at Parkwood Estate. During the summer months, visit the licensed Tea House Restaurant in the spectacular Formal Garden. Contact Tori Kay at Kings Court Catering at (905) 623-4277 for detailed information and menu selections. The Greenhouse Tea Room is available for afternoon tea as well, September through May.

Outdoor Wedding Ceremony

Wedding Receptions & Catering

Experience the beauty of the art deco Formal Garden ~ a unique surrounding for your outdoor wedding reception. Create that special day that you and your guests will always remember.

Rate: Various menu packages available*

Arrange a beverage service after your ceremony for your guests and bridal party. Bar service is also available for photo parties. A welcome relief, especially on a hot day!

Mansion Tours

Offer your guests a guided tour of this National Historic Site and provide them with insight into Oshawa’s history and the Golden Age of Style. A perfect way to occupy your guests while they wait for the reception to begin! Guests will enjoy a one hour guided tour of the mansion and tours may be arranged through the Parkwood Business Office. Personalized Tour Passes will be created that you can distribute to your guests.
